Keeping Wood-Destroying Termites Out Of Your Massachusetts Or New Hampshire Home
Usually when your home sustains serious damage, you know about it right away. A big storm blows through town and pulls shingles off your roof or an overthrown baseball breaks through a living room window. You’re much less likely to think about damage to your house that is completely out of sight, but that’s part of the reason why termites are so dangerous. A termite infestation usually occurs inside your walls, making it invisible to everyone in your house. For as long as it’s allowed to remain, the termites will eat away at the wooden elements in your Massachusetts or New Hampshire home, slowly leading to serious structural damage.
Getting rid of a termite infestation requires professional treatment, as does preventing one. Regardless of whether you have termites in your home or not, it’s always wise to have a termite inspection performed by professionals who know the signs to look for, not only of an active infestation, but also of conditions in or around your home that might lead to a future problem. Freedom Pest Control provides full-service termite control services to identify if termites are present and to protect your home from active and future infestations.
Our Termite Control Process
Inspection
Our termite control services begin with a thorough inspection performed by one of our certified Wood-Destroying Insect technicians. The technician is looking for signs of specific conditions that lend themselves to termite activity, including moisture, wood that is in contact with dirt, and more obvious signs, such as the presence of mud tubes or termite swarmers. This inspection, combined with your input, allows us to locate all termite activity, and most importantly, the conditions within your home that are allowing termites to exist. Our technician will then map out the areas that have termite activity in order to enact the most effective treatment plan for your house.
Treatment
We use the Sentricon® System with Always Active™, which is America’s #1 termite baiting system. Utilizing Always Active™ technology, the Recruit® HD bait is immediately available to termites and is preferred by termites over ten times more than wood. These bait stations are placed in the ground and have a visible service cover that is only accessible with a special key, which keeps them safe from children and pets.
Sentricon® with Always Active™ works because when termites take the bait, they share their find with the other members of the colony. Once ingested, the active ingredient prevents termites from molting, which eventually causes their demise. Once the colony dies, the queen also dies, ending the colony and the danger to your home.
With 24/7 protection, not only does Sentricon® with Always Active™ protect your home from any active infestation in your house, but it also protects it from any termite colonies that find their way onto your property in the future. It is a worry-free system that is fully managed and maintained by our Certified Sentricon® Specialists.
